01
Introduction
DigInfluencers ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at diginfluencers.com and the DigInfluencer mobile application, available on iOS and Android (together, the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have — whether you are visiting our website or using our mobile app. By using either the website or the mobile app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
02
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, information generated through your use of the Platform, and technical information collected automatically. The specific technical data collected can differ between our website and our mobile app — see the Website-Specific and Mobile App-Specific sections below for details.

Sensitive Personal & Financial Information
As part of creator identity verification (KYC) and payouts — whether completed on the website or in the mobile app — we specifically collect:
- Your Aadhaar number and a scanned copy or photo of your Aadhaar card
- Your PAN number and a scanned copy or photo of your PAN card
- Your bank account details — account holder name, bank name, account number, IFSC code — and/or your UPI ID
Why we collect Aadhaar & PAN
To verify your identity (KYC) before activating your creator account, to prevent fraud and fake accounts, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations as a platform that facilitates paid brand campaigns.
Why we collect bank details
Solely so that we can pay you — your bank account or UPI ID is used to send payouts for campaigns you have completed. We do not use this information for any other purpose.
Before submitting your Aadhaar and PAN details, you're asked to explicitly consent to this identity-verification process within the app or website.

Website-Specific Information
Cookies & Similar Technologies
When you visit diginfluencers.com, we use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the website is used. For full details on the categories of cookies we use and how to manage them, see our Cookie Policy.
Forms & Browser Data
Information you submit through website forms (such as sign-up, login, and contact forms) is transmitted securely over HTTPS. We also automatically receive standard web log data, including your IP address, browser type and version, referring pages, and pages visited on the site.
Session Management
We use secure, time-limited session cookies to keep you authenticated on the website. Sessions expire automatically and can be ended at any time by signing out.
05
Mobile App-Specific Information
The DigInfluencer mobile app requests only the device permissions and access it needs to provide its core features. We do not request access to your location, camera roll beyond what you choose to share, contacts, or microphone.
KYC & Bank Details Screens
The app's Profile section includes dedicated KYC and Bank Details screens where you can enter your Aadhaar number, PAN number, and bank account or UPI details, and upload photos of your Aadhaar and PAN documents. See Information We Collect for why this data is collected. To reduce the chance of these numbers being visible to someone glancing at your screen, the app shows your Aadhaar, PAN, and bank account number masked by default (e.g. "•••• 1234"), with a tap-to-reveal option when you need to see the full value.
Photo & File Access
When you choose to attach a file when submitting campaign deliverables, or when uploading your Aadhaar/PAN document photos, the app requests access to your photo library or device file browser only for the files you actively select. We do not scan or access the rest of your photo library or device storage.
Secure On-Device Storage
Your authentication session is stored in your device's encrypted keychain/keystore. Non-sensitive preferences (such as app settings) are cached locally on your device to make the app faster and to support limited offline use, and are cleared when you log out or uninstall the app.
Clipboard Access
The app accesses your clipboard only when you tap a "copy" action, such as copying your referral link or code. We do not monitor or read your clipboard in the background.
Network & Device Diagnostics
We check network connectivity status so the app can respond gracefully when you are offline. The app version and operating system version may be included automatically in crash reports provided by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store; the app does not currently embed third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Push Notifications
The app does not currently send push notifications. If we introduce push notifications in the future, we will request the appropriate device permission and update this policy accordingly.
06
Third-Party Services
We Never Sell Your Data
Your personal information is never sold to third parties for marketing or any other purposes.
Limited Sharing With Service Providers
We share only the minimum necessary information with trusted service providers who help us operate the Platform: our database provider (MongoDB Atlas), our file storage provider (Google Cloud Storage, used to securely host your uploaded KYC documents), our payment gateway (used to process incoming payments such as campaign registration fees), email delivery providers for transactional messages, and WhatsApp (when you choose to contact our support team through it). These providers are only permitted to use your data to perform services on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Aadhaar, PAN & Bank Details Are Never Shared for Marketing
Your Aadhaar number, PAN number, and bank/UPI details are used only internally for identity verification and to process your payouts. Creator payouts are sent directly by our finance team to the bank account or UPI ID you provide — we do not sell, rent, or share this information with advertisers, marketers, or any other unrelated third party.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information, including KYC and financial information, when required by law (for example, to tax or law-enforcement authorities) or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
07
Data Security
Encryption
All data transmitted between your browser or the mobile app and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing, and mobile app session tokens are stored in your device's encrypted keychain/keystore rather than in plain text.
Access Controls
Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel who need it to perform their duties, and we periodically review the security practices of the third-party providers we rely on.
How Your Aadhaar, PAN & Bank Data Is Stored
Your Aadhaar number, PAN number, and bank account number are individually encrypted (AES-256) before being stored in our database — not just relying on general database-level encryption — and the database itself is accessed only over encrypted (TLS) connections; access is restricted to authenticated staff with an administrator role. Uploaded Aadhaar and PAN document images/PDFs are stored separately in a private Google Cloud Storage bucket and are never publicly accessible — they can only be retrieved through short-lived, permission-checked signed links generated by our servers. Only authorized staff involved in KYC review can view this information, and we keep an internal audit log recording which staff member viewed, exported, approved, or rejected KYC or financial data, and when.
While we work hard to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If you become aware of a security issue affecting your account, please contact us immediately using the details in the Contact Information section.
08
Data Retention
While Your Account Is Active
We retain your account, profile, and campaign data for as long as your account remains active, so that you can continue using the website and mobile app without interruption.
After Account Deletion
When you request deletion of your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we are required to retain certain records (such as payment, invoicing, or tax records) to comply with legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations.
Aadhaar, PAN & Bank Details Retention
We retain your KYC (Aadhaar/PAN) and bank/UPI details only for as long as your creator account is active, and afterward only for as long as Indian tax, accounting, and anti-money laundering laws require us to keep financial and identity verification records. Once that legally mandated period ends, this data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymized.
On-Device Data
Data cached locally by the mobile app, including your authentication session, is removed when you log out or uninstall the app from your device.
09
Your Rights
Access
Request a copy of your personal data
Correct
Update or correct your information
Delete
Request deletion of your account and data
Export
Download your data in a portable format
Withdraw Consent
Opt out of marketing or optional data uses
Object / Restrict
Object to or limit certain processing of your data
You can exercise most of these rights directly from your account settings on the website or within the mobile app. For anything else, reach out using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Account & Data Deletion Process
You can request deletion of your account and personal data, including your KYC (Aadhaar/PAN) and bank details, at any time:
- 1Submit a deletion request while logged in — in the mobile app (Profile → "Account Settings" → "Delete Account") or on the website ("Account Settings" → "Delete Account"). This immediately locks your account for normal platform use. If you can't sign in, email operations@diginfluencers.com instead and our team will process it manually.
- 2Because submitting the request requires being signed into your own account, it is already verified as coming from you — no separate identity check is needed. (Requests sent by email are verified against your registered email before any action is taken.)
- 3While the request is pending, you can still sign in — you will be taken straight to a screen showing your request status, where you can cancel/withdraw it at any time before it is processed, restoring your account to normal use immediately.
- 4If not cancelled, we delete or anonymize your personal data — including Aadhaar, PAN, bank/UPI details, and uploaded documents — within 30 days, except for information we are legally required to retain (such as payment and tax records), which is kept only for the legally mandated period and then deleted, as described in Data Retention.
10
Children's Privacy
DigInfluencers is intended for users who are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child, we will delete it promptly.
11
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, to reflect a new feature, a new third-party service provider, or a change in legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes that meaningfully affect how we collect, use, or share your personal, KYC, or financial information, we will also notify you directly by email before the change takes effect, in addition to updating this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically; your continued use of the website or mobile app after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
